Rolex Volcano Race To Be Flagged Off In May 2012

Twenty two maxis will be participating in the 2012 aquatic spectacle of Rolex Volcano Race. The Rolex Volcano Race is scheduled to kick off from 19th May, 2012 and will culminate on 25th May, 2012. It will be the second installment of the Rolex Volcano Race and will take place in the Tyrrhenian Sea. The Rolex Volcano Race will mark Rolex’s legendary Mediterranean yachting season. As compared to the last year’s inaugural event, this time there will be three segments will be contested. This will be flagged off in the form of a day’s inshore racing on Saturday 19th May in Gaeta, a seaport on the Italian mainland located approximately halfway between Rome and Naples.
